Tappan Builders is a boutique construction company, undertaking a select number of projects at any given time.
Our owner, Steve Tappan, brings over 40 years of residential and commercial construction experience to the table. Our team of accomplished craftsmen has worked together for years and we've encountered pretty much every construction issue.
We provide thorough scope of work descriptions, itemized estimates, and written contracts for all projects. We collaborate closely with homeowners and their design teams on a regular basis to promptly address the surprises that crop up during any new build or remodel project.
We are responsive, attentive and good communicators, comfortable with e-mail, phone calls, and virtual or on-site meetings. We explain job progress and explore ways to improve the function and health of your home. In larger construction companies, field, office, and billing communications are often handled by different people, but at Tappan Builders, you work directly and consistently with Steve. Not only does this keep your costs down and your project moving forward, it ensures a well-maintained, healthy and safe project site for everyone.
